Gisele, who is expecting her first child with Joaquim Valente, has spent the entire Christmas season in Costa Rica. In early December, she was spotted strolling hand-in-hand with her partner.

The spot holds special significance for Bündchen, as it is the setting for many memorable vacations with her ex-husband, Tom Brady. The former couple, who divorced in late 2022 after 13 years of marriage, would retreat to Costa Rica annually after the football season. Their affection for the location was so strong that they even celebrated a second wedding at their beachside estate, which features a yoga pavilion and a pickleball court.

Now, the destination is the backdrop for a new chapter in Gisele's life, as her moments with Joaquim reflect a fresh and exciting beginning.

As HOLA! USA previously reported, Bündchen, Valente, and her kids Benjamin and Vivian took a private flight from Miami to Costa Rica on November 23rd to kick off the holiday season and celebrate Thanksgiving as a new family. Photos of the new blended family showed them dressed comfortably while carrying their luggage.

In late October, Bündchen announced the pregnancy. "Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they're looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family," said a source to PEOPLE. While the couple has kept their relationship private, they have been spotted together since 2022. “She is secure and happy, and so busy with her life that she doesn’t have time to dwell on the negatives out there,” said a source to the publication.

Tom Brady reportedly had mixed emotions after finding out his ex-wife and mother of two of his children is pregnant. The model is expecting her third child, first with her jiujitsu trainer boyfriend, Joaquim Valente. According to a PageSix insider, the quarterback knew things "were serious between Gisele and Joaquim," but he "never imagined they would be having a child together."

"It just wasn’t something that was on his radar. So when Gisele broke the news to him, he was stunned, to say the least," they explained.

Brady has apparently “grown used to the idea, and he’s happy for Gisele,” the insider added, emphasizing his priorities are his children and career. “What Gisele decides to do with her own life is really none of his business," they said.
