Christina Aguilera is stepping into her 44th year with style, confidence, and a touch of daring. On Wednesday, December 18, the Latina pop icon marked her birthday by sharing a sultry black-and-white photo on Instagram, proving once again that she's unafraid to push boundaries.  The nearly nude image captures Aguilera in a striking side profile, posing against a white backdrop. With her right arm covering her chest and her left arm gracefully holding her legs, the singer radiates self-assurance.

The look is completed with stiletto heels, a black undergarment, and a matching beret atop her voluminous curls. She captioned the post, "Birthday Suit #44," giving a cheeky nod to her bold birthday celebration. Fans and followers quickly noticed how the pose and styling echoed Aguilera's iconic look from the 2010 musical "Burlesque."

In the film, she portrayed Ali, a small-town girl chasing her dreams in Los Angeles who finds her voice at a burlesque lounge run by Tess, played by Cher.  Aguilera's empowering birthday post aligns with her long-standing message about self-love and confidence. "Defining beauty for me is about feeling comfortable in your own skin, and that's a message I always try to encourage my kids to instill in themselves," she told PEOPLE.

A Year of Transformation and Glamour

Christina's 44th birthday celebration follows a year filled with striking transformations and high-profile appearances. On November 21, she shocked fans with her radiant look at H&M's flagship store's reopening in Times Square, New York City. Sporting high-waisted gold grommet shorts, black tights, thigh-high boots, and a velvet floor-length coat, Aguilera seamlessly blended edgy and glamorous elements.

The ensemble highlighted her recent weight loss, sparking widespread admiration and conversation among fans and media alike.  This wasn't the only time Aguilera turned heads recently. Her appearances at the Grammys, her Las Vegas residency, and even candid moments leaving a Los Angeles workout studio—all featuring chic, figure-hugging outfits—have cemented her reputation as a style icon with an ever-evolving image.

Speaking Out on Media Pressure

Despite the glowing compliments, Aguilera is no stranger to scrutiny over her appearance. Reflecting on the media's focus on her weight, she told Glamour, "I started to fill out, and then that was unacceptable because it was like, 'Oh, she's getting thicker.' Then I had industry people: 'They liked your body and how you were as a skinny teenager.'"

This perspective has only strengthened Aguilera's commitment to embracing her body and encouraging others to do the same. Her confidence, as seen in her "Birthday Suit #44" post, shows that beauty comes from within and self-love is the ultimate celebration.

As Christina Aguilera turns another year older, she leaves nothing behind—except, perhaps, outdated expectations. Instead, she steps boldly into the future, embracing every inch of herself and inspiring others to do the same.

Happy birthday, Xtina!
