Melania Trump changes her classic style at formal dinner in Mar-a-Lago

Melania Trump has been more active in recent weeks ahead of the presidential inauguration of her husband, Donald Trump. The former and future first lady seems to be ready to take on new responsibilities in 2025 as her husband prepares to take the presidency. 

This time, Melania stepped out in a sleek all-black ensemble during a former dinner at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. She stood next to Donald as the celebrity family hosted Akie Abe, the widow of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

The future first lady looked elegant in a glamorous makeup look. She styled her hair in loose waves and posed for photos at the important event. Melania decided to change her classic manicure style for a rounded French manicure.

The stylish author debuted a new nail shape, featuring a tapered point. She has been known to have a preference for white-on-white French manicure, but it seems she is now having fun with her style ahead of a new year filled with responsibilities.

Melania shared her thoughts about the evening, taking to social media to share a tribute to the former Prime Minister. "It was a privilege to host Mrs. Akie Abe at Mar-a-Lago once again," Melania wrote. "We fondly remembered her late husband, former Prime Minister Abe, and honored his remarkable legacy."

Her role as a mom of Barron Trump:

Melania has been open about being a proud mom to Barron, as she continues to guide him while balancing her professional life. A source revealed to People that "[Melania] will do everything she can to make sure Barron does well in school and is socially and mentally adjusted to his life as a college student."

The insider explained that Barron will not be living in campus housing and will instead be staying at the Trump Tower. "Living in a dorm in a college town isn’t in the stars for him at this point," the source said. “Whether or not others think he is capable of being on his own, Melania feels it's better to be around him as much as possible."
