Eva Longoria has recruited a special someone to join her in the kitchen. The actress, producer, and now, cookbook author, was joined by Brooklyn Beckham, another fellow foodie. Aside from their love of cooking and delicious meals, the two also share a close relationship, with Longoria introducing him as her "nephew," as he's the son of one of her closest friends.
The video was shared on Longoria's Instagram and shows her and Beckham preparing some beef tostadas. "I'm here with my nephew Brooklyn because we're gonna try his hot sauces on one of my recipes from the cookbook," she said.
This year has been significant for both, with them releasing cooking products that they're proud of. Beckham released his sauces, called Cloud 23, while Longoria released her cookbook, called "My Mexican Kitchen."
"We're going to make tostadas today. Have you had tostadas?" asked Longoria.
"I haven't," he said.
"What!?"
The two then proceed to take out various ingredients from the fridge, including various spices for the beef and chicken, and cook them on the stovetop, adding lemon pepper spices and more. Longoria prepared each tostada by adding a base of bean paste, some protein, veggies, and concluding the cooking process in the oven.
"Guys, check out Brooklyn's new hot sauce," said Longoria near the end of the clip. "It really is amazing."
Eva Longoria and Victoria Beckham's friendship dates back years
Eva Longoria and Victoria Beckham met years ago, through their husbands. At the time, Longoria was married to Tony Parker, who was friends with David Beckham. Nowadays, the two are inseparable, with Longoria serving as the godmother of Harper Seven, the youngest daughter of David and Victoria.
“I wish people knew how funny and charming and smart Victoria is,” she said in an interview with The Times. “She’s the funniest person. I think she’s an introvert, but she’s an extrovert with me. We are inseparable.”
