She shared her cover story with Entertainment Weekly on social media, praising her character's grit and resilience in the post's caption. "When I first learned about the true story behind Unstoppable, I was moved beyond words," she wrote.

"It’s a testament to resilience, grit, and the human spirit. This film is a celebration of the fighters and the dreamers who refuse to give up, no matter the odds."

"It was such an honor playing Judy Robles in this incredible story about her son Anthony Robles. Both Anthony and Judy are real examples and define what it means to be UNSTOPPABLE."

Lopez has tried her best to keep her personal life away from the spotlight, but it's been a year full of changes for her. In August, she filed for divorce from Ben Affleck after months of rumors and no sightings of the two together.

Since then, the pair have reunited on various occasions, and remain steady with their divorce plans.

More details about 'Unstoppable'

"Unstoppable" follows the story of Anthony Robles, an NCAA-championship-winning wrestler who beat the odds and became a champion with only one leg.

The film follows his rise in the sport and his relationship with his mother, Judy Robles, played by Lopez. "She was able to really take on how I felt — the highs and the lows," said Judy of Lopez's work to EW.

"When I watched the movie, when I watched me, I was like, 'Oh, yeah, I was pretty weak. I kind of don’t want to see that part of me.' But I know that was my growth journey." Judy said Lopez's performance shows her full journey. "People aren’t left with a sense of who I used to be, but who I am now," she said of viewers.

For her part, Lopez revealed that she had a lot in common with Robles, including playing the role of a single parent at times. "I've been a single mom at times in my life, and [I’ve asked,] 'Am I enough for them?' And the truth is, all you need is really one good parent to love you," she said.

"You hear it in Anthony's voice, and look what he’s been able to accomplish. That's what the movie gave me: You are enough."
