The holidays wouldn't be complete without the Queen of Christmas herself, Mariah Carey, who is sharing more than just her iconic music this season. In a heartwarming revelation, Carey, 55, opened up about a cherished holiday tradition close to her heart: cooking linguini with white clam sauce, her late father's favorite recipe.

"I like to cook during the holidays," Carey says. "I make it every year, and sometimes my daughter Monroe helps me make it." The superstar shares 13-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-husband Nick Cannon, and this culinary ritual is a way to keep family connections alive during the festive season.

This December, she's bringing the ultimate holiday vibes to SiriusXM's Holly station with "Mariah Mondays," airing Dec. 2, 9, 16, and 23 from 6 a.m. to midnight. Fans can expect a mix of timeless holiday classics and festive hits, including Carey's signature Christmas anthem, "All I Want for Christmas is You." During these special broadcasts, Carey will be curating songs like Kelly Clarkson's "Underneath the Tree," Aretha Franklin's rendition of "Winter Wonderland," and Stevie Wonder's soulful "Someday at Christmas."

But Carey isn't stopping there. Looking beyond the holidays, Carey gave a tantalizing glimpse of her plans for 2025. She revealed that new music is on the horizon and hinted at exciting developments tied to her 2020 memoir, "The Meaning of Mariah," a New York Times bestseller. A scripted series based on her life has been in the works since 2017, though Carey kept details under wraps, saying, "I don't want to go into it too far because then everyone's gonna say, 'Why did you tell us this and it didn't happen?'"

Mariah Carey's earnings for “All I Want For Christmas Is You”

The 1994 hit by Mariah Carey has proven timeless! After more than 30 years of bringing joy to homes, the song's ongoing popularity is well-deserved due to its excellence and the significant profits it has generated for Carey.

Although the exact earnings are not publicly verified, DailyMail estimates that she has made over $70 million since the release of the track. In 2016, calculations by The Economist suggested her earnings had exceeded $60 million. Additionally, the New York Post reports that she currently earns about $3 million annually from this song.

The year 2022 was particularly notable for the song. Carey, who has stated that she never referred to herself as the "Queen of Christmas," dominated the charts for 12 weeks. On January 3, Billboard announced that she held the No. 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 for the fourth consecutive week. This achievement marks only the second time a holiday song has maintained the top position for four weeks in a row and the first time in 64 years. The previous record was set by "The Chipmunk Song" by David Seville and the Chipmunks in December 1958.
