Ben Affleck is ready to move on after his difficult moments this year. The actor made headlines for his marriage struggles with Jennifer Lopez, which resulted in their divorce. Despite issues in his personal life, Affleck has been focused on his career and is spending quality time with his kids, 15-year-old Fin, 12-year-old Samuel, and 19-year-old Violet.

Affleck is reportedly "happy" with his new life chapter and has been in a "great" mood recently. "He's very happy with life. He enjoys working. He'll spend Thanksgiving with his kids," a source detailed to People. "[He's] in a great mood."

The actor is working alongside his friend and longtime collaborator Matt Damon in a new crime thriller titled 'RIP.' The pair are producing the movie, starring Sasha Calle and Teyana Taylor. They have been filming in New Jersey and the source admitted that he is in great spirits while working on the production.

"They [Affleck and Damon] are a great team. You can tell they enjoy working together. Ben looks great too. He seems to be in a good place," an insider said to the publication, adding that he is "super fun to work with."

The source revealed that Affleck spent "Thanksgiving with his kids," following a report that indicated that JLo wanted to be reunited with her ex for the holidays, as their kids are still very close to each other. However, it was also reported that Jennifer Garner was not a fan of the idea.

A source revealed to the Daily Mail that Garner "no longer wishes" to be involved in the drama and wants no contact with Lopez. "Her friends feel she shouldn’t have allowed herself to get so involved in helping JLo to fix her marriage to Ben," the source said.

Garner found herself "playing mediator" during the separation and divorce. "Jen no longer wishes to have communication with JLo unless it has to do with the kids," the insider added.
