Jada Pinkett Smith made some time in her weekend to pamper herself. The actress and author shared an update on her life on Instagram, revealing that she spent time with one of her closest friends over the weekend, and decided to take a long bathtub and put on a face mask to find "magic in the mundane."
Pinkett Smith shared a photo and a video on her latest Instagram post.
The image shows her inside her friend's stunning bathroom, accessorized with plush carpets and a recliner. Pinkett-Smith can be seen in the bathtub, looking out the window.
"Lately I’ve been obsessed with 'finding magic in the mundane.'" she wrote. "Discovering the simple joys that drop me into present time that enhances connection with myself and others."
"Like watching the Hawks fly outside my girlfriend’s bathroom window while sitting in her tub after indulging in a mud mask she put on my face that made my skin so happyyyy. I want to share it with you."
Pinkett Smith's upcoming project
In the video, Pinkett-Smith shows a video of herself applying the mask, which is made with all-natural ingredients and is a mud-honey mask. "This product is pricey but I must say it's worth it," she said in the clip, as she applied the mask on with a makeup brush.
"It was just a beautiful experience."
Pinkett Smith teased an upcoming project that will be released soon. She said that even though the product is not skincare, viewers would understand why she's promoting self-care and skincare on her social media. "I am going to start sharing with you my obsessions."
Last year, Pinkett Smith released her first memoir titled "Worthy." The book went on to become a New York Times bestseller and showed a new side to Pinkett Smith's personal life, including her complicated relationship with her husband Will Smith, and some details regarding their children, Willow and Jaden.
