Lizzo shows weight loss transformation in latest outing: Fans are shocked

Lizzo has been open about her fitness journey. The fan-favorite singer has shared videos of her fitness routines and healthy lifestyle over the years, taking to social media to share some insight into her daily life with her fans and followers.

Most recently, the musician shocked her fans after they noticed her weight loss transformation, including during her latest outing with her mom, Shari Johnson-Jefferson.

The mom-daughter duo wore matching braided hairstyles. “My mom stole my hairstyle & ate me up," the singer wrote on Instagram. She wore a white off-the-shoulder crop top paired with denim shorts and a stunning makeup look while styling her hair in “milkmaid braids.”

Fans of the performer showed their surprise after her dramatic transformation. “Wait wait wait don’t get too skinny now!!!” one person wrote, while someone else commented, “First thing to slim is that face, hi haterssssss!!!" adding, “Such a beautiful soul you have come so far !! And I appreciate you so much, you’ve given me my confidence as well."

Her weight loss journey:

Lizzo, who has been updating her fans on her journey, recently revealed how she transitioned from being vegan to reintroducing "animal proteins," including chicken and eggs into her diet, which she admits have helped her lose weight.

“When I got to Japan, I was in awe with how clean and delicious their food was. I indulged in fresh sushi and fluffy egg and I was amazed at how good my body felt the next day,” she said in a recent video shared on social media. 

“After tests and research, I found that animal proteins helped me have more energy, lose weight and helped with my mental fog,” she continued. “This is the diet that’s helped me reach my goals and helped me feel good in my body.”
