Ivanka Trump and her family believe in the importance of adopting dogs. In a recent Instagram story, Ivanka and her daughter Arabella shared a look at their afternoon, which they spent volunteering at an animal shelter.
In her stories, Ivanka reminded her followers of the work that volunteers and workers do at rescue shelters, and how it's possible for everyone interested in giving some love to rescue dogs.
Ivanka's stories showed Arabella spending time with a rescue called Ivy. The images showed Arabella happily playing along with her, while Ivy seemed thrilled with the attention and love.
She also shared a photo of her daughter holding onto Ivy's information. Arabella is seen smiling at the camera and holding onto a sheet of paper that reads some details about the dog and how volunteers can make an appointment to spend time with her, foster her, or even adopt her.
In a separate story, Ivanka shared some information on the dog shelter they visited, the Pawvention Program at Miami-Dade Animal Services.
Ivanka is encouraging people to give foster animals a chance
Ivanka encouraged her followers to foster or adopt animals if they were interested in acquiring a new pet.
"My daughter and I spent the afternoon volunteering with the Pawvention Program at Miami-Dade Animal Services, supported by the Brady Foundation," she wrote.
"We played with, cuddled and walked two of their sweet rescue dogs - Ivy and Bruce - giving them a fun break from the kennel. This program helps raise adoption awareness and gives these pups the love and attention they deserve."
Ivanka provided a link that her followers could visit to learn more about helping these animals and the dog rescue community in Miami.
She also provided a photo and a description of Bruce, which people can adopt and spend time with if interested.
"This is Bruce, a 9-year old American Bulldog with a calm and gentle nature," she wrote. "He's a sweet boy looking for a quiet and loving home."
