One of the highly anticipated moments has arrived as the curtains rose on the grand stage of the film industry’s most prestigious event. The 96th Academy Awards ceremony beckoned, drawing in scores of luminaries to the iconic Dolby Theatre.

Although born in Miami, her family moved to Argentina shortly thereafter, where she spent much of her childhood, making cherished memories. “My dad is Scottish-Argentine, and my mom is Afro-Spanish,” she shared in an interview with the Evening Standard. “I come from many different places, but I think my warmth and my outlook on life are from Argentina. I’m very grateful for that part of my history. I’m very proud to come from Argentina,” she expressed.
