Matthew Perry died in October of this year, affecting Hollywood and the millions of people that have grown up watching the TV show “Friends.

Sinead O’Connor died in the summer, following the tragic passing of her son. O’Connor was 56 years old and is responsible for some incredible songs, in particular, her cover of Prince’s “Nothing To Compares 2 U.”

Paul Reubens died at 70 years old. Known for his iconic role of Pee-Wee Herman, Reubens died after privately battling cancer for years. “Please accept my apology for not going public with what I’ve been facing the last six years. I have always felt a huge amount of love and respect from my friends, fans, and supporters. I have loved you all so much and enjoyed making art for you,” he said in a posthumous statement.

Colombian artist Fernando Botero died at 91 years old, in Monaco. He was known for his sculptures and paintings, which tended to depict bloated people, animals and objects.

Tony Bennett passed away in July. He died in New York City, at 96 years old, leaving behind a stunning legacy of jazz music, which earned him 20 Grammys and over 50 million records sold all over the world.

Tina Turner died in May of this year, rattling the entertainment industry. The musician and performer was known for her incredible onstage persona, her hits like “The Best” and “What’s Love Got To Do With It,” and her resilience in the face of domestic abuse.
