Ivanka Trump and her family celebrate her grandmother’s birthday

Bubi is Ivanka’s maternal grandmother, born Marie Zelníčková. In her caption, Ivanka revealed that her grandmother is based in Miami, giving her plenty of opportunities to spend quality time together.

“Last week we celebrated my Grandma Babi’s 97th birthday,” she wrote in the caption. “We’re so lucky to have Babi living with us in Miami these last couple years.”

“I’m thankful for every lesson, every story, and every game night where she still destroys us all at Jenga!” she continued on in the post.

“It’s the simple moments together that define the richness of life. I cherish every second!”

Ivanka shared photos of the cake and the celebrations they had together, showing her kids happy to spend quality time with their grandmother.

Ivanka clearly values the relationship she has with her grandmother, with it being one of the strongest connections she has to her late mother, Ivana.

“She was the funniest, smartest and most glamorous woman I knew,” wrote Ivanka on February of this year, memorializing her Ivana’s birthday. “She lived each minute of her life to the absolute fullest. I miss the joy she brought into our lives and into the lives of so many.”
