Marc is five years younger than his brother Gerard, and rarely makes appearances in the media.
Like Gerard, Marc also has a background in soccer, even though he decided not to pursue it professionally.

This past summer, while Gerard and Shakira shared the news of their split with the world, Marc married his longtime girlfriend.

Marc works in his brother’s business, and graduated with a degree in Business Management.
Gerard rarely speaks about his brother, but according to HOLA! Spain, he respects him deeply. “It must be difficult to be my younger brother, but Marc is a ‘crack,’” he said in an interview.
