Does anyone take Halloween costumes as seriously as  Heidi Klum? And can anyone pull them off as well as she does? I don’t think so. For almost two decades now, the German-American model, television host, producer and businesswoman has been pulling off some of the best, over the top Halloween costumes.

She can be officially crowned as the queen of Halloween. Her dedication and creativity to the fall holiday keeps us on our toes and looking forward to her newest ideas and creations every year.

Let’s hope this year Klum amazes us again with her jaw-dropping costumes. Ever since Klum moved to America, she loved everything there was about Halloween. For her, all it was missing was a fantastic party, so of course, she saw this as an opportunity! Since the year 2000, take a look at every one of Klum’s extravagant Halloween costumes. We can’t wait to see what she has in store for us this year!

2000: Dominatrix

In the year 2000, she strutted in as a Dominatrix Halloween costume, with dark hair, leather and studs.

2001: Lady Godiva

As Lady Godiva, she did not disappoint, as she came in with a Rapunzel blond wig and non-other than a real house.

2002: Betty Boop

Who’s the fairest witch of all? Heidi Klum was able to mix a crimson-haired, vampire and skeleton Halloween costume all in one.

2005: Vampire

Klum went full-on vampire for her party the following year, complete with a fully exposed bleeding heart, and a full-on hair and vampire teeth look. Her eye make-up did not disappoint.

2006: The Forbidden Fruit

The Forbidden Fruit was Klum’s way of incorporating her 8-month pregnant bump to her costume. Not your ordinary apple, the Garden of Eden’s forbidden fruit, with the serpent incorporation. Not featured in the photograph is her then husband Seal as Eve.

This must be the most professional cat costume of all time. Klum really took it to the next level.

With hair, makeup and costume on point, in 2010 it is not very clear what look she was going for, robot, transformer or power ranger. Whatever it was, she looked the part, that’s for sure.

2012: Cleopatra

In 2012, Heidi had to cancel her party because of Hurricane Sandy. But she still gave a preview of what she would have worn. She looked ravishing in a full-on gold Cleopatra costume.

Heidi stepped into the future just a few years. She came wearing a cane-wielding elderly woman, complete with wrinkles and varicose veins. She really looked the part.

Klum did her most adventurous costume to date in 2016: She dressed up as…herself. The model turned the red-carpet party event into a runway while debuting SEVERAL Klum clones in full Victoria’s Secret Angel looks.

2019: Human Body inside out with alien tone to it...

Her most creepy and intense outfit yet. In 2019, we aren’t too sure if she is an alien or a cyborg, but the gory alien look was VERY realistic.

2020: Mummies

In 2020, because of the pandemic, Klum just shared a photo of her with her kids with the caption: "Halloween is extra special this year because I am getting help from my kids!"

2021: Halloween Zombie movie

For the second year in a row, after canceling her annual Halloween party, Heidi Klum decided to honor her favorite horror films with a short film she created for 2021. Emerging from her grave, she returns to life as a mom with her kids — only this time, she’s become a zombie. 

In her Instagram post, she shared "ormally I’d be hosting my annual Halloween party on Sunday night … but this year things are still looking a little different. So instead, my family and I want to be the first to wish you a safe and spooky Halloween weekend."
