His right arm depicts a Native American in profile, wearing a feathered headdress. This was Johnny's first tattoo and he got inked to honor his great-grandmother who was Cherokee, something he's very proud of.
His left forearm bears a key with the Harley Davidson skeleton logo.
That same arm also has the silhouette of a faceless man drawn by his son, John "Jack" Christopher Depp III.
In memory of his grandfather
Johnny got a tattoo of a sailor in memory of his grandfather, who was in the US Navy during World War II.
On his left arm, there's a tattoo of his mother Betty Sue, along with her name.
He wears his heart on his sleeve
Each one of Johnny Depp's tattoos relates to his life. And since his family is so important to him, it's only natural that daughter Lily-Rose's name is right above his heart.
