Earth Day 2022 was celebrated this April 22. The date commemorates the Earth and serves as a reminder for people to come to terms with the many environmental issues that we’re living through today.
Celebrities used their social media to call attention to the day and share some of their fondest moments on planet Earth.

The model and activist has long made the Earth one of her main priorities. She shared a video of herself running and jumping, with a beautiful sunset as a backdrop. “How lucky are we that we get to live in this beautiful planet. Happy Earth day!” she wrote. “On this special day I would like to share some great films that highlight the importance of connection to nature and restoring our soil,” she wrote, listing out the films “Kiss the Ground,” “Our Biggest Little Farm,” “Our Planet,” and “2040.”

818 Tequila, created by Kendall Jenner, shared a message on Earth Day, explaining the brand’s M.O. and how important it is for them to minimize their impact on the Earth. “We choose our packaging partners based on a continued dedication to protecting our planet. Our glass supplier champions the industry-wide transition to natural gas energy sources, and our labels, corks and boxes are all certified by the Forest Stewardship Council for coming from sustainably managed forests,” they wrote.

Selena Gomez shared a video on her stories where she discussed the book “Monarca.” “, “Happy Earth Day. I have been thinking about how much healing our planet needs after reading this incredible book called Monarca by Leopoldo Gout,” she said. “We all need to try and do more, even small efforts in our everyday lives can make an impact on the betterment of the planet.
