Ireland’s message about embracing her body is especially beautiful considering her past struggles with an eating disorder. Last August she celebrated 6 years that she has been free of anorexia, bulimia, and other food compulsions. She shared a video on Instagram at the time proudly sharing, “Wanted to announce that today is the 15th of August, and today marks six years that I have been free of anorexia and bulimia and all of my other food compulsion and eating disorders that I have struggled through for many years.”

Ireland is one of the many famous Baldwin’s in the industry. Along with her parents, she is the niece of Stephen, Daniel, and William Baldwin, and Hailey Baldwin’s cousin. She was born on October 23, 1995, in Los Angeles, California and her dad is a direct descendent of Mayflower passenger John Howland (1592–1673). She began signed with IMG Models in 2013 and gained media attention after her father’s infamously angry voicemail message to her became publicized when she was 11 in 2007.

Ireland’s body is a canvas as she is covered in many tattoos. Last month she had to clarify the dark-haired pin-up girl covering her right upper arm is NOT Kendall Jenner. After several people left comments like “Why Kendall Jenner though,” she took to her IG story. “My tattoo isn’t Kendall Jenner. She’s beautiful tho so I’ll take it … but it’s actually an illustration that was done in the ’60s,” she wrote.
