Today everyone is talking about the Tokyo 2020 Olympics opening ceremony but we still can’t forget about the epic night that went down at Premios Juventud 2021. Filled with amazing musical performances, and incredible hosts, the awards show left everyone proud of their culture and the impact Latin music has had on the entire music industry. While there were several iconic and powerful Latina’s at the show Karol G, Becky G, Natti Natasha, and Kali Uchis took home awards and performed. Take a look at all their looks throughout the show.
KAROL G
Karol G pretty much swept the awards show. The singer led the nominations with 12 nods and took home multiple awards for Artista De La Juventud Femenino, El Traffic Jam, La Más Pegajosa, La Coreo Más Hot, Social Dance Challenge and El Más Trendy. She looked amazing in a shoulderless off-white gown with silver embroidery and matching hair. She looked stunning in a yellow dress as she performed and rocked her iconic teal hair for the rest of the night. After the show, she posed with her awards in a Louis Vuitton set.
BECKY G
Becky G has been attending the Premios Juventud for years but she has never been at the top of her game like today. She had three outfits for the night: a blue rhinestone-covered gown with a high slit for the red carpet, and a yellow honey bee look and high leather black boots for her performance with El Alfa, and a red elegant gown post show. The singer took home two awards, including the Girl Power award for her duet with Natti Natasha, “Ram Pam Pam,” and for “Ayudando A Sus Fans.”
KALI UCHIS
It’s been a big year for Kali Uchis who has successfully broken into mainstream media with her viral song “Telepatia.” This year she wore a see through black dress for the carpet and a stunning sheer beige off the shoulder dress for her performance. She took home the award for La Nueva Generación.
NATTI NATASHA
Natti Natasha rocked an amazing neon look with a white coat during her first performance back as new mom. The singer brought her two month old daughter on stage as she accepted her award. Natasha took home the award with Becky G for “Ram Pam Pam,” and with Prince Royce for their song “Antes Que Salga el Sol.”
