Kim Kardashian’s trip to Rome has everybody talking. This week she joined Kate Moss and her 18-year-old daughter Lila Grace Moss-Hack for a tour of the Vatican and photos released by the press had people wondering if she broke the strict dress code. Kim looked stunning in an off-the-shoulder white lace dress cutout at the hips, silver-framed sunglasses, and strappy heels. But according to the Sistine Chapel’s strict dress code, visitors aren’t permitted to enter in, “low cut or sleeveless clothing.” On July 1st, Kim cleared the air saying she “adhered to the dress code” and shared photos from their trip. Check out all the poses they hit at the historical Vatican City below.
Kim and Moss were notified about the strict dress code so they made sure to bring black coats to cover up. The rules vary throughout the city and Kim clarified in the caption, “Don’t worry, I adhered to the dress code and fully covered up while inside St. Peter‘s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel’s.”
For Kim, there’s never a wrong time to throw up a couple of peace signs and pose with a kissy face. She wrote in the caption of her Instagram post, “We had the most incredible experience touring Vatican City.” “It was amazing to be able to view all of the iconic art, architecture, and ancient Roman sculptures in person, especially Michelangelo’s works.”
Visiting the Vatican is something most people will only dream of, and they even got a VIP experience. The Skims founder said they even had the opportunity to view the private archive of robes worn by every pope in history, dating back to the 1500s.
Kim took her glam squad on the trip and they had the opportunity to experience Vatican City too. They all posed on the steps with historical art behind them and all looked properly covered.
