Vanessa Hudgens  couldn’t be more excited about her friends bringing new life into the world.

On Tuesday, April 20, the High School Musical alum spoke to Access about her former Disney Channel costar  Ashley Tisdale  and her 1-month-old daughter, Jupiter Iris. While she hasn’t gotten the chance to spend time with the bundle of joy just yet, Hudgens told the outlet that she’s anxiously awaiting the chance to be introduced to her longtime friend’s first child.

“Just making sure we‘re being safe with COVID still being a thing,” she explained this week. “We’re gonna wait until I have time and make sure that I’m not traveling anywhere. Just block out a window to be able to meet Jupiter.”

Vanessa continued, “I’m so excited though. She was like, ‘You have to come over and sing for her because she loves singing.’ She’s like, ‘Whenever she’s on her stomach she kicks when there’s singing.’”

Because of the baby’s excitement over music, Hudgens continued, “So I’m going to come over and be the auntie who sings.”

Tisdale and her husband, Christopher French, welcomed their first child together on March 23.

Only a few weeks prior to her birth, the former High School Musical stars were finally reunited for the first time in nine months due to the ongoing pandemic.

It’s taken 9 months but safely we got a picture before my girl left again. “Love you @vanessahudgens ❤️❤️,” Tisdale wrote on Instagram at the time under a snap of the duo hugging each other and smiling under their masks.

Hudgens made sure to reciprocate the love under the post, commenting “I LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUUUCCCCH”

Once Jupiter was welcomed into the world, Tisdale announced her arrival with a sweet black-and-white photo showing the actress holding her newborn’s hand.

“Jupiter Iris French arrived earth side 3.23.21,” she wrote at the time.

As she settles into her new life as a mom, The Masked Dancer judge shared on. Instagram that she is “discovering who I‘m truly meant to be” after welcoming Jupiter into the world.

“Slowly healing, slowly finding myself,” Tisdale wrote. ”I’m not trying to get back to who I was, there’s no way. I’m on the road to discovering who I’m truly meant to be and there’s something in my daughters eyes that tells me she knows exactly who that’s gonna be ❤️.”
