Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and his wife Lauren Kitt have just welcomed a little bundle of joy into their lives. On Thursday morning, the 41-year-old singer Tweeted that his wife gave birth but according to his tweet, it seems like Kitt’s labor and did not go as smoothly as they had hoped.
“We are proud to announce that our baby has officially arrived,” Carter shared with a prayer hands emoji.
“But as a parent knows all to very well, sometimes things don’t turn out the way you plan it. We have been experiencing some minor complications but things are looking a little better after the first night,” he revealed.
Carter also thanked his fans for the love and support they have shared for him and his wife.
“I wanted to thank everyone for all the prayers and good thoughts during this time. We will keep you updated.”
Fans learned Wednesday morning that Carter and Kitt were having some difficulties with the baby’s delivery as the singer posted an Instagram photo of him in scrubs at a hospital. The 41-year-old captioned the photo, “Yes I’m a believer. I ask god to give us strength to protect mommy and baby. 🙏🏻 #fatherhood #prayers.”
This newborn is the couple’s third baby. Carter and Kitt met at a meet and greet organized by Nick’s brother, Aaron and sister, Angel. “Three hours into conversing on my balcony overlooking the beach, we saw shooting star after shooting star. We both looked at each other and it got quiet,” Carter told Inside Weddings.
Carter eventually proposed to Kitt on a private island. The wedding took place at a Santa Barbara resort, according to Inside weddings and it featured on the reality show, I Heart Nick Carter.
