Celebs Who’ve Lost Weight in Quarantine

Looking good, feeling even better

By spending so many months at home during quarantine, and with the scare of COVID-19, many celebrities have taken the time to improve their health, and they started by losing a some extra pounds. Take Rebel Wilson, Ayesha Curry, or Marissa Winokur... not only do they look great after losing the weight, but they feel even better, healthier, more energy and more self confidence. They took advantage of the opportunity that was given to them with COVID-19 and all those hours spent at home, many of them were spent working on themselves, to be stronger, healthier, and more energized! COVID-19 wasn’t going to catch them unprepared.

Peter Facinelli

We must admit that even though some nice take out or extra sugar or caramel in our coffee tastes great in the moment...but later it has its effects. “Everything‘s shut down right now, and I wanted to focus on myself ... to get as physically fit as I could,” says Peter Facinelli (47) who lost 30 lbs during quarantine in order to feel leaner and have more energy. How? He cut out take out meals and sugar completely.

Marissa Jaret Winokur

The Hairspray star Marissa Winokur (47), has gone through cervical cancer and asthma. With COVID-19, after realizing that she was in the high risk group for complications with the virus, she went on a journey. Her 50 lbs wieght loss journey wasn’t all that difficult or complicated. It just took dedication and consistency. “I started walking and eating healthy — and just trying to take control,” she says.

Kelly Osbourne

While surgery, pills and short term plans sure help, if you don’t eat well or work out, there’s no point to any of that, especially if what you want is long term results. Osbourne lost in total 85 lbs after a gastric sleeve surgery. Before the surgery, she spent about a year going to theraby to mentally prepare herself. It’s important to remember, in order to fix the body, you need to fix the mind first.

Ayesha Curry

With her NBA star husband Stephen Curry, some of the athletic abilities had to rub off on Ayesha. Adding some healthy changes to her diet and workout, the cookbook author lost 35 lbs during quarantine. Her dinners for the family now include protein and a side of vegetables, like brussel sprouts or broccoli. As for her workouts, she keeps things simple, with family bike rides or online resistance training workouts.

Rebel Wilson

We have been following Rebel Wilson’s journey from the start and oh my is Wilson an inspriation for us. Wilson started 2020 declaring it as the “year of health”. She went from eating 3,000 calories every day of mostly carbs, to a high protein diet, and now, a year later, she has lost 40 lbs. Not only does she feel better, with more energy, but she feels overall healthier.

Tiffany Haddish

Last spring, during the quarantine, Haddish (41) started dating Common, and by being with someone who cares about her so much, she wanted to feel more confident in herself. She started a vegetable diet with daily workout routines and she has lost 40 lbs. Now that she has lost the weight she is working on toning her body and getting some abs! You go girl!
