Chrissy Teigen is recovering from surgery and shows most epic card from Luna

The adorable four-year-old wanted her mom to feel extra special after her surgery

UPDATED JUNE 11, 2020 7:32 PM EDT

Chrissy Teigen ’s family was her biggest supporter after she went under the knife to have her breast implants removed. The Cravings author shared a handmade card delivered to her operating room from her and  John Legend ’s four-year-old daughter Luna. “Have fun pulling your boobies out love Luna,” the card read on one side. Chrissy flipped the card over to reveal another note that read: “Bye bye boobies.”

Chrissy’s daughter Luna wrote her a hilarious card to celebrate her surgery

The 35-year-old’s picture was accompanied by a caption of her appreciation for her daughter as well as two-year-old son Miles and an update on how her surgery went. “Surgery went perfectly! So so so so sore but waking up to this made it go away for half a minute at least.”

In March, the former Sports Illustrated model announced that she would be getting the surgery after she shared that she was tested for Covid-19. “They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it,” she tweeted. “I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie! So don’t worry about me! All good. I’ll still have boobs, they’ll just be pure fat. Which is all a tit is in the first place. A dumb miraculous bag of fat.”

Chrissy noted that after 10 years, it was time for her to make the healthy change for her body. And that she wishes she could have gotten it done sooner. “Quarantine would have been perfect time but apparently it’s not ‘ESSENTIAL’ smh.”

Luna celebrated her mother getting her ‘boobs pulled out’

Earlier this year, Chrissy opened up about having the work done when she was in her 20s to make her feel more confident in her career as a swimsuit model. Years later, the star revealed that her feelings about them changed after motherhood. “But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed,” the mother-of-two told Glamour UK. “I want them out now. If I could do one thing, it would be to have a lift. I think you’re supposed to replace [implants] every ten years. But when you have kids you think about the risks of surgery and I think ‘This is not the way I want to die, in boob surgery.”
