  • Gloria Estefan and her husband Emilio Estefan are giving back to those at the forefront of the pandemic. The couple is giving 500 daily meals to healthcare workers and first responders in Florida. The food will be prepared out of their Estefan Kitchen in the Miami Design District for the next 30 days.
  • After being put on hiatus, American Idol is returning to our small screens on April 26. The singing competition will be filmed remotely with contestants recording videos from their own homes with a phone.

  • When is comes to hair, people in quarantine are taking matter into their own hands — and Kelly Ripa is no exception. During an episode with Live with Kelly and Ryan, the TV host revealed she gave herself a quarantine makeover with a kitchen tool. “I’m not going to lie, I cut my own hair,” Kelly said, adding, “I used kitchen scissors, we obviously don’t have haircutting scissors.”
  • Kate Hudson might have spent her 41st birthday at home quarantined but it did not stop her loved ones from holding a “six foot surprise parade party.” The actress took to her social media to share a heartwarming clip of her friends and family holding a car parade in front of her home.
  • Further preventing the spread of COVID-19 in large gatherings, New York City is canceling their 2020 Pride march. The news comes after Mayor De Blasio announced on Friday that nonessential events would be cancelled.
