Baby, it’s cold outside, but let’s wear a bikini? Lele Pons followed a trend that was started years ago by fellow A-listers: posing in the snow wearing nothing but a bikini. The pose, now named “snow bikini,” has gained popularity once again thanks to the Venezuelan influencer who gifted her millions of followers with a photo of herself posing in the mountains of Snow Valley, California.

One of the first famous faces to pose in the snow with just a bikini was Rihanna. In February 2014, the singer put on a white bikini with gold detailing and made her way onto the snow to celebrate her 26th birthday. “Snow. Bunny,” she captioned the iconic photo.

Although Kim Kardashian followed Rihanna’s footsteps in 2015 when she posed in a tiny nude-colored bikini, it wasn’t until the end of 2018 when her sister Kendall Jenner dared to do the same thing. The supermodel left her coat inside and went out into the snow wearing a rose-colored two-piece paired with snow boots, a snow hat and a cup of coffee.

Like Rihanna, Kendall posed in Aspen. Although she captioned the photo saying it was freezing, that didn’t stop her from having a full-on photoshoot.

Kendall wasn’t the only Kardashian-Jenner that got in on the fun. The model’s older sister Kourtney Kardashian followed Kendall’s footsteps and posed in the snow, but she chose to bring a jacket to match her blue bikini. “Copied Kendall,” she wrote.

Another influencer that joined the trend was Sahara Ray, who in the last year, has posed in the snow on numerous ocassions. The 26-year-old model paired her neon yellow bikini with a white coat, snow boots and snow goggles.

In June 2019, Irina Shayk shared a picture that was similar to the trend. After calling it quits with actor Bradley Cooper, the model took a second to give fans an update. She posed sitting down on a rock in Finland wearing what we would call pajamas. Her light grey sweater was paired with matching grey socks. In the background, you can see the glaciers. Without a doubt, these ladies are brave for taking on the snow with nothing but a bikini. Now all we’re left wondering is…who’s next?
