The coronavirus is putting the world on hold, and with it the wedding plans of these engaged star couples

Although  Jennifer Lopez  told Oprah Winfrey that there’s no rush for her wedding to  Alex Rodriguez  to take place, there’s nothing her fans would like more than seeing her dressed in white walking down the aisle. Unfortunately, like many couples, the singer also  admitted to Ellen DeGeneres  that their plans have been affected due to the coronavirus pandemic. The power couple has given hints on how they’d like the big day to be but it will have to wait. Puerto Rican star  Anuel AA , however, announced on social media that this year there would be a wedding, his followers assumed he was referring to tying the knot with his fiancée - Colombian singer  Karol G , but again, their plans could be in danger... And they aren’t the only ones.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez got engaged in March last year during a romantic trip to the Bahamas. The former baseball player shared some images of the romantic moment and since then, he has even shared some details on how they would like the big day to be. “It’s going to be a long flight,” he said back in the day during his appearance on TV show Strahan, Sara and Keke.

The Marry Me actress revealed on Ellen’s April 7 show, “Honestly I really don’t know what’s going to happen now as far as dates or anything like that. We’re just in a holding pattern like the rest of the world. We’re just going to have to wait and see in a few months, how this all pans out.”

Karol G and Anuel have been spreading their love on social media since they became engaged in April last year. “I think I want something super simple, something natural, something small,” she said during an interview with Entertainment Online, “To be honest, I haven’t thought about the specific things because I want everything to be super simple and natural as possible.” Her fiancé however, had something very clear in his mind, the wedding would happen this year.

After postponing their wedding once to June, the Empire star shared with Extra that the date has been pushed back even further. “It’s probably going to be more like July, we have to see what this will be like at the other end,” she said. “Our grandparents, my grandmother is about to turn 96, his is 86, how do we get them to the wedding now, now we are concerned, just trying to figure out the safest and best way.”

According to People, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were planning a wedding in Japan for 150 guests that unfortunately, had to be postponed due to the COVID-19. Fortunately they both now have something beautiful to focus on as the couple is expecting their first child.

Comedian Dave McCary shared the good news via social media with this lovely picture of fiancée Emma showing off the engagement ring. According to Page Six, the couple were going to tie the knot by mid-March in L.A. but had to postpone their plans due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli already made the hard decision to cancel their wedding reception on the grounds of Buckingham Palace, and now, according to HELLO!, they could even face another challenge when it comes to their May 29 ceremony. The Church of England has advised that during the coronavirus outbreak, the number of people attending church weddings should be limited to the legal minimum of five, something that could directly affect their arrangements for 150 guests.

The Biggest Loser coach and Danny were supposed to tie the knot on April 4 but will be pushing it to a later date. “We canceled our 150-person dream wedding until further notice,” she told us. “The kids were upset we had to cancel so we will be having a mini dinner celebration with the kids –with the food we were going to have at the wedding, a small cake and a champagne (sparkling juice for them).”
