Oscar night is fast approaching and we cannot wait! We’re ready to see all the big fashion from stars like  Salma Hayek ,  Margot Robbie  and  Jennifer Lopez  as well as who will be taking home the gold statue for their category (fingers crossed for  Brad Pitt ). Hollywood’s biggest night is sure to have many memorable moments on-stage as well as off — including heartfelt tributes to many who have passed away in the last year, most recently  Kobe Bryant  and legendary actor Kirk Douglas (father of  Michael Douglas ). Below we’ve gathered all the moments we are looking forward to seeing this year.

A Kobe Bryant tribute

The former L.A. Lakers basketball player won an Oscar for his short film Dear Basketball in 2018. The Academy Awards always does an In Memoriam segment during the show, and we are looking forward to seeing how they honor the 41-year-old as well as the recently departed Kirk Douglas.

The Frida actress has been known to slay red carpet fashion and we’re excited to seeing what she will be wearing this year as she takes the stage to present an award. We’re also excited about the Mexican actress reuniting with her fellow acting BFFs Antonio Banderas and Penelope Cruz .

The Pain & Glory actor received his first-ever Oscar nomination this year and made it known that his daughter with acting royalty Melanie Griffith will be his date for the night.

Brad Pitt taking home the Oscar

Brad is the favorite to win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in the Quentin Tarentino film Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. Although he’s stated that he doesn’t mention his children in his acceptance speeches as a way to protect their privacy, we’re hoping he’ll mention kids Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, Zahara, Vivienne and Knox. We’re also keeping our eyes peeled for his Oscars date...
