Brad and Jen smiled and talked to each other during the epic encounter. The couple resumed their friendship three years ago, when the Once Upon A Time in Hollywood actor divorced actress Angelina Jolie.

Brad Pitt attended Jennifer’s 50th birthday party last year, and more recently, he was invited to the actress’ annual Christmas bash. Brad split from Angelina Jolie in September 2016, after a 12-year relationship and 2 year marriage. Jennifer and her now ex-husband Justin Theroux announced their own separation with a public statement in February 2018.

Brad and Jen shared some laughs and good vibes after their wins. The actor won the Male Actor in a Supporting Role award for his incredible performance as Cliff Booth in Tarantino’s latest movie, while she bagged the Female Actor in a Drama series trophy for her role in The Morning Show.

As two of the night’s big winners, the former pair looked proud of each other, cheering each others’ success with some PDA. During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer had opened up about her the end of her marriages. “My marriages, they’ve been very successful,” she said, “And when they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness doesn’t exist within that arrangement anymore.” Jen maintains a friendly relationship with her second husband, too. Justin Theroux was among guests at her famous “Friendsgiving” celebration last year.

During his acceptance speech after receiving the award, Brad thanked his Once Upon a Time in Hollywood castmates Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie and shared hilarious thoughts with the audience. “I gotta add this to my Tinder profile,” he said looking at the statue with emotion. The twice-married star also joked about his character, hinting that it hit close to home. “Let’s be honest, it was a difficult part,” he quipped. “A guy who gets high, takes his shirt off and doesn’t get on with his wife.”

The actress received her Best Female actress in Drama series looking more glam than ever, taking to the stage in a stunning vintage white satin Christian Dior gown.

The couple’s highly-anticipated encounter was an immediate trending topic, especially after January’s Golden Globes. At that awards ceremony, Brad won a Golden Globe for best supporting actor and all eyes were on Jennifer, who was seated among the fellow A-listers in the audience and looking extremely proud of her ex-husband.

And the admiration is mutual! During Jen’s acceptance speech at the SAGs, Brad, who was already backstage answering questions from the press, took a moment to watch his ex-wife on the screen. Definitely ex #relationshipgoals!
