Is love brewing between Emma Watson and Tom Felton?

A sweet snapshot of Tom Felton and Emma Watson spending an afternoon together has got netizens buzzing about whether a relationship between the two actors is blooming. The murmurs began after the couple shared some photos of their trip to South Africa.

In the pics we can see Emma and Tom having fun as she "learns how to play guitar rather quickly" after being taught by Felton. They can both be seen wearing pajamas and barefoot, enjoying a quiet August afternoon.

Though Emma and Tom have been good friends for a solid 20 years after they met on the set of the Harry Potter films, Watson's revelations that she had a crush on Tom Felton sent fans into a frenzy. In an interview with Seventeen Magazine, Watson confessed: "During the first two films, I had a deadly crush on Tom. He knows this, too. We talked about it and laughed. We're good friends now, which is cool."

After their photos were shared on both their respective social media accounts, they have gotten thousands of red hearts (likes!) and hundreds of comments; however, the photos also sparked the rumors of a possible romance. Many fans claimed to have been waiting for this to happen for a while. They even suggested new names for the couple, such as "Dramione" or "Feltson."

On November 2018, the actress that brought Hermione Granger to life shared a photo of her next to Felton as a token to celebrate Origin, a YouTube series that he stars in. This series is a sci-fi drama where Tom works alongside one of his Harry Potter colleagues, Natalia Tena, who played Nymphadora Tonks (and for those of you with a keen eye, she also played Osha in Game of Thrones).

Their get-together was not the only one they had, since Emma and Tom went skateboarding as well. Indeed, it was Draco Malfoy himself who taught the heroine from Harry Potter how to ride on wheels. Both skating at great speed, they hugged as they traipsed the streets, laughing and enjoying each other's company.

The time that they spend together is not going to end anytime soon, as Emma posted a photo on her profile with the caption "Friends just get you better," and she tagged Tom, pointing out that he's her best friend. Tom followed suit, sharing a photo of himself wearing a shirt that read "Women do it better." He wrote her initials underneath. Emma is known for being a feminist icon.

The whispers around them started when Tom Felton told US Weekly: "We see a lot of each other, we just don't post photos of all the times we meet."

At 29, Emma Watson has shown Hollywood that she's not only into acting. The daughter of two British lawyers can very well be Tom Felton's perfect girl since she's interested in environmental development, feminism and literature. Emma has also evolved and reinvented herself through her films such as The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Beauty and the Beast, My week with Marylin and Cologne.

And of course our lovely towheaded Brit is great catch as well! At 32, he's working on different projects both on cinema and TV. He has recently appeared in episodes of DC's Flash, and later Netflix offered him a role on Rachel Talalay's A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting.

Emma Watson, the star of the Little Women reboot where she stars alongside Meryl Streep (premiering in December) was dating businessman and technology CEO Brendan Wallace, who was later seen this year with actress Alexandra Daddario.

On the other hand, Tom Felton announced that he was single again after separating from Jade Gordon Olivia, the actress who played Astoria Greengrass, Draco Malfoy's wife in the last scene of the last Harry Potter film. Though the actor never confirmed they had broken up, the actress made it public by sharing photos with her new partner.

It looks like Emma and Tom will continue seeing a lot of each other, as Warner Bros has a new project in the works. The idea is to make an adaptation of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child that takes place after the second part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
