Taylor Swift is madly in love with Meredith, Olivia, and Benjamin

Taylor Swift has demonstrated on many occasions the love she feels for her pets, who are also a part of her family. The three kittens are called Meredith, Olivia, and Benjamin Button.

The 29-year-old singer shares a very special bond with her feline partners, and that’s why they’re always together. She also shares emotional moments with them through her social media, where her three furry friends are always the stars.

Since she was a child, Taylor Swift thinks of herself as an animal lover. The first one to come into her life was Meredith Grey, an adopted kitten, named after one of the characters in the TV series Grey’s Anatomy, one of the singer’s favorite shows.

After a while, Taylor decided to adopt a second kitten, whom she named after Olivia Benson, a character in the TV series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

The sweet pet came into her home and brightened up the moments that Taylor shares with her cats, who now live a life of luxury.

The third member of the Swift family is called Benjamin Button and his story is a cute one. Taylor was filming the music video for her song Me! when she heard a cat meowing. She asked where it was, and when she found him, she asked to adopt him in order to give the cat a home full of love and happiness.

Meredith, Olivia and Benjamin have great lives since Taylor Swift is never away from them. They also have their own special carriers, so that they can come with her whenever she has to travel. However, when she’s home, the three pets are able to enjoy every single corner of the house.

Taylor Swift is in favor of adopting animals to give them a second chance. She knows that having a pet demands time and lots of attention.

The “You Need To Calm Down” singer copyrighted Meredith’s, Olivia’s, and Benjamin’s names in order to put them on merchandise, which she sells on her website.

The kitten’s images are used on watches, clothing items, bags, toys, jewelry, decorative items, furniture, and mobile phone accessories, amongst many other things.

The most fun thing about Taylors cats, is that they are superstars too. Meredith and Olivia went on the big screen in Deadpool 2, when Wade Wilson put a shirt printed with the image of both cats. It had a sign on it that reads: "Meredith & Olivia, best friends forever."

The singer thanked Ryan Reynolds—the lead role in the film—for having included her cats in a scene.
