As the US Women's Soccer team won the World Cup, in Rio de Janeiro Anitta and Pedro Capo entertained the crowds during the closing ceremony of the Copa America men's football tournament before the final match between Brazil and Peru at Maracana Stadium on July 7. Brazil emerged victorious, beating their opponents 3-1.

New Orleans' Louisiana Superdome shook with excitement on Saturday, July 6, as Michelle Obama took centerstage. Dazzling in a disco diva jumpsuit, the former first lady was all smiles as she spoke with Gayle King about life after the White House.

Queen + Slim writer Lena Waithe caught up with Yara Shahidi as she and director Melina Matsoukas presented the first 13 minutes of the upcoming movie from Universal Pictures and Makeready during the 25th annual Essence Fest in New Orleans. “I wanted to give voice to all the nameless faceless men and women of color whose lives were taken unjustly and who didn’t make it home," Lena said during the Q&A. "I actually refer to them as fallen soldiers but unfortunately, they were fighting a war they didn’t know they were in.”

If Queen Letizia of Spain's style looked familiar on July 5, that's because she's worn it before! The fashionista attended the closure of the seminar 'Heritage Education In The School' at the International Center of the Spanish language in La Rioja, rewearing a long-sleeved coral wrap dress she first stepped out in last summer. Her faced glowed with natural beauty as she glided through the event in a pair of killer seuede pumps.

Happy Anniversary!

David and Victoria Beckham marked their 20 years together in a dazzling way. The famous pair jetted off to Paris for a VIP tour of the Palace of Versailles.

"Most amazing visit to Le Château de Versailles on a very special day.." David said. "Thank you to everyone for making it so memorable @chateauversailles One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen."

Victoria also shared a sweet sentiment, writing: “A private tour, dream come true…Thank u to everyone who made it so memorable and all our family and friends for always supporting us as a family. Can’t believe it’s been 20 years! So many kisses xxx VB."
