America enjoys to the max her first year as a mom

America Ferrera, whose rise to stardom is often associated with her iconic role in Ugly Betty, is at a pivotal moment in her career, but also in her personal life as she enjoys her first year as a mother.

Although the 35-year-old actress has kept her baby’s identity out of the spotlight, that hasn’t stopped her from sharing some adorable baby moments with her followers.

America Ferrera started 2018 with a right foot

America Ferrera chose to announce her pregnancy during New Year’s festivities when she shared a photo of a mini onesie – one of the first pieces of clothing the new family member would soon wear.

“We’re welcoming one more face to kiss in 2018! Wishing you #MásBesos in the New Year!” wrote the celeb next to the cute snap.

America shared details of her pregnancy

After confirming she was expecting her first child, in the months that followed, America shared several images of her tummy and how happy she was about this new stage of her life.

The photographs showed the actress flaunting her pregnancy during events with her close friends, as well as at her baby shower which was organized for her in March.

The photo with which America presented her baby to the world

On May 29, 2018, the Superstore star shared the first photo of her baby where it showed his tiny foot gently held by his mom and dad, Texas actor Ryan Piers Williams.

“When 2 become 3...Welcome Sebastian Piers Williams - aka Baz! Mom, Dad, and Baby are happy, healthy and totally in love!”, she wrote next to the snap that received more than 197 thousand likes.

Next to the two loves in her life

The Honduran-American actress chose June 29, 2018, to share the first photo where she appears with her husband and son. America shared the sweet photo to raise awareness for the Keep Families Together campaign she joined in Washington DC.

"This fight doesn't belong to a group of people, a color, to a genre, it belongs to all of us," said the actress, along with Alicia Keys and Lin-Manuel Miranda, during the event, attended by more than 30 thousand people.

America Ferrera and her baby join a noble cause

In August 2018, as a loyal and faithful activist, America joined the World Breast Feeding Week initiative, which sought to encourage breastfeeding anywhere. The actress joined the initiative with a photograph that shows her inside a car with her baby, whose face is covered with a baby cartoon.

Her first Halloween as a mamá

Unlike many moms, America didn’t make of her first Halloween a big celebration. Instead, she only shared a photo where she compares a real-life photo after giving birth next to one of her character's.

The pic shows both images of her in a hospital bed where one of the babies is Sebastian and the other her fictional son from Superstore. However, their faces are kept hidden as one baby has a chick emoji over his face, meanwhile, the other has a pumpkin emoji covering him.

America enjoyed her son and the snow during the holidays

Over the past couple of holiday seasons, America spent her time taking walks on the snow with Sebastian with whom she spent freezing moments of fun thanks to a sled. “Never been happier to be someone’s reindeer. Baz’s #firstxmas #firstsnow#firstsleighride” wrote the actress.

A sweet father-son moment

Although this is the only photo in which Ryan and his baby are featured together by themselves, the producer himself is also very affectionate and fatherly. America Ferrera shared the cute snap not only to wish Ryan a happy birthday but also to honor him being a great father.

“I knew you were an exceptional human and husband, but I never could have imagined what a wonderful, loving and silly father you would be. Baz and I are the luckiest to have you.” she wrote.

Baby turns one!

On May 27, the actress shared what is Sebastian’s most recent photo, where he looks more than ready to blow the candle on his cake. “The longest and shortest year of our lives! Also the most joyful, tender, loving, tiring, messy, poopie, and silly. I can’t believe you’re already 1 my little Burrito! I love being your Mama,” wrote America. Despite not showing her baby boy’s face, the television star continues to share sweet and tender moments with her son.
