It's time to dance: Alejandro Sanz is bringing his "La Gira' tour to a city near you

Alejandro Sanz is brining his latest tour to North America! The Spanish musician announced the first round of American dates for the LaGira tour. The 40-year-old star will kick off the show in August, with the first stop being Chicago, Illinois. For the next two months, the No Tengo Nada singer will make 12 stops in various major cities, including Miami, Houston, New York and Los Angles. “We continue to have good news,” the Back in the City performer wrote. “#LaGira will have its first international stop in the US. On sale April 5.”

La Gira is set to start in Spain on June 1. The two-time Grammy winner sold out the show in record time. Prior to making stops in the United States, Alejandro is set to take the stage in Barcelona, Madrid and Elche. The show will close in Santiago de Compostela, making him the first Spanish artist to sell out the Wanda Metropolitano stadium, and the only artist to sell out four stadium shows.

Fans of the singer are in for a treat. Not only will Alejandro perform songs from his upcoming album – El Disco, out Friday, April 5, he is bringing back some of his classic tunes. In conjunction with the album release, general sale tickets for the U.S. leg of the tour, go on sale on livenation.com, at 10m local time on Friday, April 5.

The news comes after Alejandro celebrated the release of the third single from El Disco. On Friday, March 30, the singer and Camila Cabello premiered the video for the romantic hit Mi Persona Favorita. The superstar took to his Instagram over the weekend, to express his gratitude for reaching over 5 million views. “THANKS x 5,000,000,” he wrote next to a clip of the video on Instagram. “I would love to say thank you for each view but the characters of the networks do not allow me. THANK YOU FAMILY #MiPersonaFavorita @camila_cabello.”
