Sarah Jessica Parker shared her thoughts on her Sex and the City co-star Cynthia Nixon's run for governor of New York. While speaking at an event during the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival on April 27, the 53-year-old actress revealed she knew about Cynthia‘s plans for a month before she made the announcement. “She shared with me that she was going to announce about a month before," she said. "I was incredibly excited and proud of her. I think she’s already been good for the conversation. This is what’s exciting about primaries, right? People can inspire an incumbent to reconsider policy…or just have a robust conversation." The star, who looked casually chic, continued: “She’s formidable. She’s incredibly bright. She’s really brave. She’s excited about this race, and it’s challenging. But, she seems enormously energized and I think it’s good for us to have a competitor — it’s always good. John Legend and Kanye West cooled off from their heated Twitter exchange by hanging out. The music icons put their differences aside at a surprise baby shower for Chrissy Teigen hosted by Kim Kardashian. The moment came only a day after John texted Kanye to question his views on President Donald Trump. Things must have been patched up, because Kanye shared this happy photo with the caption: “We got love. Agree to disagree." Kourtney Kardashian takes Congress! The reality star spent her day in Washington, D.C. on Capitol Hill to speak during a briefing with Senate staffers with the Environmental Working Group. The 38-year-old was on hand to voice her support about a piece of legislation that was sponsored by Dianne Feinstein of California and Susan Collins of Maine – that would allow the Food and Drug Administration to have more control over the ingredients that are used in cosmetics and other personal products. The mother-of-three, who also recently launched a limited collection with sister Kylie Jenner, dressed for the occasion in a black pantsuit and cropped white shirt. Kim Kardashian’s big sister was all business with her long sleek tresses slicked to the side and tucked behind her ears.
