The 2017 Academy Awards will be primarily remembered for one thing when Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway mistakenly announced <i>La La Land</i> as the winner for Best Picture, instead of <i>Moonlight</i>. The two presenters had been handed the wrong envelope, setting off mass confusion inside the Kodak Theatre. <i>Moonlight</i> took home three awards during the night: Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor for Mahershala Ali and Best Adapted Screenplay. <i>La La Land</i>, meanwhile, won six awards in total, including Best Actress for Emma Stone.
