Leo and Kate first made waves playing Rose and Jack Dawson in the 1997 romance film 'Titanic.' In an interview with Vanity Fair, Kate admitted, "[Leo's] probably the world’s most beautiful-looking man, yet he doesn’t think that he’s gorgeous." She added, “And to me, he’s just smelly, farty Leo.”

You jump, I jump. He walks, she walks. The costars walked the carpet at the 1998 Golden Globe Awards together, where their film 'Titanic' won best motion picture. Back in 1997, Leo told ET, "[Kate's] such a terrific person in general that our chemistry naturally happened on screen. We just like each other as people. As far as doing a love scene, though, we laughed about it a lot."

Leo reunited with his leading lady in 2007 at the 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards. The actor told Oprah Winfrey, "In a lot of ways, Kate and I have really grown up in this industry together; we've been a support mechanism for each other for such a long period of time. We've been there for each other and helped guide each other."

To the stars! The 'Titanic' costars did not have to look very far for the stars while attending the 2007 Vanity Fair Oscar Party hosted by Graydon Carter. Leo has called his bond with the actress "unbreakable."
In 2013 he revealed, "We were both just kids of 21 when we made 'Titanic' all those years ago. But, even then, Kate seemed more mature and worldly than I was. I cried on her shoulder many times as we found the demands of filming under the director James Cameron so tough. We have never not been friends since that time. I speak to her all the time. But friends – not lovers.”

Kate and Leo shared the screen yet again in the 2008 drama film 'Revolutionary Road.' When it came to teaming up again, Leo said, "It's great to work with one of your best friends, it really is. I'll always be looking to work with her again."

The costars made a dashing pair in 2009 at the London premiere of their film 'Revolutionary Road.' Leo has admitted that humor keeps the two together. He's previously said, "We laugh at the same things. She never lets me take myself seriously, even if I wanted to. We have a special magic."

Kate, who took home the best actress award for her performance in 'Revolutionary Road' at the 2009 Golden Globes, gushed over costar Leo in her acceptance speech.
She said, "Leo, I’m so happy I can stand here and tell you how much I love you and how much I’ve loved you for 13 years, and your performance in this film is nothing short of spectacular. I love you with all my heart, I really do."

The pair's 'Titanic' reunion at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards had the Internet (and us) shouting Rose and Jack forever! However, in an interview with Marie Claire UK, the actress revealed why the two never dated.
Kate said, "He always saw me as one of the boys; I've never really been a girly-girl. We needed each other to lean on because we were very young and working all kinds of crazy bloody hours and it was a shock to the system." She continued, "I think the reason that friendship works is because there was never any romantic thing."

Leo and Kate could not have been any cuter, while laughing together on the red carpet at the 2016 Screen Actors Guild Awards. The actress admitted to E! that when it comes to nominations, she's more focused on her former costar's than she is on her own. "I've been so focused on Leo and him winning everything and being so excited for him," she said.
