You should apply press-ons from the cuticle. First, you need to find the nail tip that best fits your nail bed. Keep in mind, you can also file it to adjust the size. Next, place the back of the nail tip near your cuticle line, making sure your cuticle and curvature of the press-on are lined up perfectly. Then, press the nail tip down for a few seconds. If you use a sticky tab, add cuticle oil or alcohol between your nail and the press-on. The nail tip will slide right off! If you use nail glue, you need to soak it off with acetone.
