role’ to date as father of the bride
Michael Caine was proud to play the
supporting role when his 26-year-old daughter Natasha took centre-stage at her
wedding to Tim Scott, London entrepreneur and co-owner of the Fluid juice bar
chain.
Recently-knighted Michael took pride of place in the
celebrity-studded congregation – which included actors Roger Moore, Jason
Connery and Nanette Newman, Hot Chocolate singer Errol Brown and film director
Bryan Forbes – in Chelsea. |

‘Everyone was crying but me,’
said Michael. ‘I nearly did, but I had to show the macho thing and be the
father-in-charge.’
‘It was a magical moment seeing Natasha
coming up the aisle with Michael,’ said the actor’s gorgeous wife
Shakira, who is herself a former beauty queen of Guyana. ‘She literally
took my breath away. Tim is everything we could hope for in a son-in-law. We
adore him. In fact, far from being nervous about the whole thing, we were all
quite relaxed, including Michael.’
