The couple make the most of every moment
on the paradise island before they have to
part: Joseph to film Peak Practice in
Derbyshire and Caroline to London
When Peak Practice star Joseph Millson
married actress and singer Caroline Fitzgerald last summer in a beautiful
traditional wedding in Buckinghamshire, work commitments meant they could only
squeeze in a short break in Florence to celebrate. But recently the couple
finally found the time to enjoy a well-earned luxurious late honeymoon in
Barbados. Barbados is stunning, and the hotel was just wonderful,
enthuses Joseph, who spent the holiday exploring as much of the island as
possible. The actor, who plays Sam Morgan in the TV series, also told of the
time he was attacked by a green monkey at the Barbados Wildlife Reserve.
We were watching the monkey when he dropped
the banana he was eating quite close to my feet, so I thought I¹d throw it
back to him. As soon as I leant towards it, the monkey went berserk and lunged
towards me. Being the hero I am, I just turned and ran for it, as Id been
told they had sharp teeth.
Joseph and Caroline also reveal how their wedding day went. We both love
a beautiful old song called The Way You Look Tonight, originally sung by
Fred Astaire. Two days before the wedding, I decided Id like to sing it
to Joe at our reception. When the time came for me to do the song, some friends
who are wonderful singers stood behind me and accompanied me. Joe just burst
into tears. He had to make his speech straight after that and was crying his
eyes out, poor thing! |
