tells us of her own
traumatic life and how she has found true happiness at last
Trisha Goddard has been through as much - and probably
more - trauma than encountered by any guest on Trisha, her popular
morning show that beat Vanessa Feltz in the ratings war. Her personal catalogue
of heartache, betrayal and tragedy defies belief. Trisha's first husband,
Australian Liberal Party politician Robert Nestdale, died of AIDS. Her second
husband had an affair with her researcher.
Trisha's youngest sister Winnie, who suffered from schizophrenia, died of
horrific burns after she set herself alight. And in the depths of her own
depression, while on the brink of suicidal despair, Trisha took an overdose.
For more information on these traumas, get the new issue of HELLO!, in the shops now.

The presenter, who is presenting Celebrity Heartbreak on June 20, which
explores the issue of coping with a relationship break-up when one or both of
the partners is famous, talked to HELLO! with her third
husband, mental health care specialist Peter Gianfrancesco about the life they
share with her daughters Billie and Madison. "I can talk to Peter about
anything," reveals Trisha. "Four years into the relationship we are
more and more in love. He's a father to the girls and a fantastic example to
them.
"I really love motherhood and don't feel I'm in my 43rd year," says
the presenter when asked about having another child. "I've always thought
a boy would be nice and if it happens it happens. We're not doing anything to
stop it happening." |
