The Queen, a keen photographer, at the
Royal Windsor Horse Show. The
subject of her lens was her husband,
the Duke of Edinburgh

She’s one of the most photographed women in the world, but at the Royal Windsor Horse Show the Queen decided to take some royal snaps of her own as she kept a keen eye on the action. The subject was Prince Philip, who steered his wife’s fell ponies to fourth place in one of the challenging carriage-driving events. When he spotted the Queen snapping his picture from across the field, the Prince obliged her with a cheerful grin.

Also present and looking a picture of marital togetherness, were the Earl and Countess of Wessex, who celebrate their first wedding anniversary next month. According to reports, Sophie is looking to sell her public relations company R-JH in order to concentrate on starting a family, but will remain in charge for at least a few years after the sale. The deal could make Sophie the royal family’s first self-made millionaire, following another potentially lucrative move. She has invested £500,000 in five Internet websites.
