It is hard to know what had the Old Trafford
fans ooh-ing and aah-ing more: David Beckhams 50th goal for his club, or
the appearance of his son Brooklyn, on the day that Manchester United got their
hands on the Carling Premiership Trophy.
Brooklyn was just one of the many players children who made an appearance
on the pitch. His mother Victoria, who had been watching the match with her
mother, handed the toddler, whose little boots had Daddy inscribed
on the tongues, to her husband, who sat him in the trophy, before being hoisted
onto Beckham Seniors shoulders for a ride around Old Traffords
hallowed turf.
Victoria, although not a football fan,
watched David score his 50th goal
for his club with their son |
It is all go for the Beckhams at the moment. After
a mini-break in Florence (to celebrate Davids 25th birthday and as a
second honeymoon), the three were on the move again. Just hours after the Old
Trafford celebrations, David, Victoria and Brooklyn boarded a flight to Los
Angeles, for a quick holiday before David starts his preparations with the
England squad before Euro 2000. Victoria spent some time at a recording studio,
while David was left holding the baby at the couples luxury hotel.
