This summer you probably had a good laugh watching the film ‘No Hard Feelings.’ Apart from being an incredible comedy, you probably noticed the perfect on-screen duo formed by the two talented stars, Jennifer Lawrence and Natalie Morales. Born in Florida and proud of her Cuban roots, Natalie returned to the comedy film scene after the successful reception of her movie ‘Language Lessons’ (2021).

It was through that very film, Language Lesson, that Natalie embarked on her journey as a director, in addition to her roles as an actor and writer.

The film narrates the story of an unexpected friendship between Adam (Mark Duplass), and his Spanish teacher. This production was successfully made during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

That has not been her only work as a director. She also helmed the comedy “Plan B,” a movie based on a script by Prathi Srinivasan and Joshua Levy. Natalie’s accomplishments with “Plan B” and “Language Lessons” earned her the Rising Filmmaker accolade at the fifth Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) awards in March 2022.

Apart from her directing endeavors, Natalie has acted in other movies and series such as “White Collar,” “Parks and Recreation,” “The Grinder,” “Santa Clarita Diet,” “Stuber,” and more. Her first major role on the small screen was in 2008 with the series ‘The Middleman” (ABC), where she portrayed the character “Lucy,“ starting a successful career in Hollywood.
